what to do, what to do

2011, I have waited for you! Now what am I doing:
Sitting in New Jersey, in bed, watching various movies, attempting to read some books, and pretending tv shows such as teen mom and true life are the slightest bit interesting...
My grandmom is so sick though; please keep her in your prayers, thoughts, or whatever it is you believe in. She won't make it much longer, this we're all sure of and she is convinced! She is so comfortable with death. With a bottle of whiskey on her counter for "emergencies" and a wink, wink, nudge, nudge to the Hospice nurse, she laughs and sighs with her warm smile at the thought of being reunited with my poppy and "lifted up by St. Jude and St. Anthony(my Italian, Catholic grandmom's favorite saints)". It's so refreshing my family's morbid sense of humor, huh? Being here is making me realize the inevitable in such a situation: Life is too precious and short to make lists, and hope things happen, we need to MAKE them happen.
Enough ranting for the evening.
New Years was nice, Christmas was nice, the snow was wonderful. As part of my several resolutions for the year I really want to keep my blog updated with my thoughts and ideas pertaining to my life, and primarily fashion. Hopefully, a post from FIT in NY will be a part of such ideas soon! I am only 2 hours away from the city!

The plane ride of a whopping 1 hr and 18 min from Atlanta to Philadelphia

My two cousins, my brother and my sister amongst our "blizzard" in Atlanta.

Atlanta Station at Christmas time is beautiful. Me and my best friend Lauren.

More snow! First white Christmas(I've witnessed) in Georgia.

More pictures to come. And as tradition has it, my 2011 horoscope has been read and re-read. Thus far, it's proving to be quite accurate! What's yours?

Hope everyone has a wonderful week filled with love and too much laughter!
